The Rock Town Distillery was founded in 2010 by Phil Brandon. Having just lost his job, the 5th generation Arkansas native decided to stay in his native state and turned an old 1950’s warehouse into a working whisky distillery. His taste for whisky and an enterprising passion led him to research the new craft distillery movement of the era. Arkansas did not have a legal distillery since prohibition so he decided to open a truly, legal craft distillery in the middle of Little Rock, Arkansas.
The newly founded distillery was created with one mission in mind, to produce products from locally sourced materials. At Rock Town Distillery, there is an immense passion for producing “handcrafted” whiskies. All the whiskies are meticulously crafted in small batches from grain to glass. Arkansas is known as “the Natural State” so Phil didn’t have to look far to find the natural grains and materials to produce high-quality whiskies and spirits.

The Rock Town Distillery is located in Little Rock, Arkansas, and functions as a full distillery with a tasting room. There is a passionate, hands on approach to this distillery and dedication to the local farmers, relying on them to produce all their grains for the whiskies. Also, the white oak charred barrels for aging the whiskies are all produced locally. All the spirits and whiskies are carefully handcrafted in small batches to ensure the highest quality. All bottling and labeling are done by hand. A true grain-to-glass distillery devoted to quality and working in unison with the local farmers.

Welcome to the Rock Town Column Still Collection, where every sip takes you on a journey through the heart of Kentucky, and straight into the soul of Arkansas. In March of 2020, Rock Town's Head Distiller Phil Brandon set out on a mission to find a way to keep up with the demand for Rock Town bourbon. The search ended when he discovered the Collaborative Distilling Program offered by Bardstown Bourbon Company, which allowed him to use his own bourbon recipes and the same Arkansas-grown grains that have helped produce the quality bourbon Rock Town is known for. Finished in new medium-plus toasted French oak barrels, this bourbon has notes of cinnamon, baking spices and caramelized sugar.
