Sérum Elixir is a super-premium rum-based spirit. This blend is aged up to 8 years and is flavored by a long, slow maceration of fruit, herbs, and spices. Elixir is inspired by a reconstructed recipe of similar elixirs, used by workmen during the construction of the Panama Canal to protect, cure, and energize themselves.

The inspiration for this unique rum blend was Mamie, the proprietor of Kelley’s Ritz, the best-known bar in Panama City that opened in 1925. This bar welcomed any rank of sailor, soldier, or even Marine. This notorious establishment moved the boundaries of decency in what was then a conservative society far beyond the breaking point. Sérum Mamie is an intense smooth blend of Panamanian dark-aged rums with cocoa, vanilla and toffee.
