This very rare and precious marriage of single malts is composed of Chichibu and Hanyu single malts of various ages. Ichiro's grandfather owned Hanyu, and Ichiro inherited the leftover casks of 30+ years when Hanyu closed in 2000. A fragrant and floral dram, with vanilla and spice playing along with yellow orchard fruits and fresh citrus zest. The lively malty palate shows oak wood influence, with dark chocolate emerging in and out of the exotic fruits and tangerine citrus present. Long-lasting, as the chocolate and black fruits continue with spicy sensations on the finish.
