Created in the heart of Tequila with generations of Tequila making expertise, Enemigo developed 89 recipes to perfect the components of this special Tequila. It is produced from Blue Agave that is 7-12 years of age and grown in mineral-rich Volcanic soils. Only new American Oak is used for ageing, which gives Enemigo a unique flavour profile. Most other Tequilas use used Bourbon barrels for ageing. After one year of ageing, the liquid goes through a clarifying filtration system that clarifies the colour and makes this a clear Anejo Tequila.
