Renato Ratti was the creator of modern style Barolo and the Marcenasco was one of the first single vineyard bottlings in the region. The Barolo is perfumed and vibrant, with floral, baked spices and a slight herbaceousness. The palate is elegant and structured with Morello cherry, raspberry, leather and star anise framed by firm tannins.
